Background:

Quattro Display, a leading UK company that creates custom exhibition stands, showrooms, and interiors, aims to exceed £2m in turnover as it grows both in the UK and abroad.

Quattro Display, based in a 23,000 sq. ft. facility in Redditch, has teamed up with the Elevate Manufacturing Programme Worcester to improve its digital strategy and expand its exports. The programme, run by Oxford Innovation Advice and funded by Worcestershire County Council, supports manufacturing SMEs to grow, work more efficiently, and compete better.

A Growth Manager worked with Quattro Display to find obstacles to growth using the GROWTHmapper tool. This showed where the company could improve its machinery, skills, and website to attract new clients.

As a result, Quattro Display has grown its team by 10% and spent over £200,000 on new production saws. The firm has also installed 115 solar panels, reflecting a commitment to sustainability alongside growth.

“Having someone come into the business and take an impartial view of what we do and how we do it has been really valuable,” said Ashley Blizzard, Managing Director. “With a stronger online presence, new video content, and a website set to launch soon, we are in a perfect position to achieve our £2m target.”

The company has already secured new contracts from UK clients and international customers in Denmark, France, and Italy, all seeking Quattro Display’s single-source solution for bespoke exhibition stands. Its comprehensive turnkey service covers in-house design, graphics production, and project management, serving sectors from audio-visual, beauty, and health, to food and drink, machine tools, and commercial interiors.

Michelle Connor, Programme Manager at Elevate, commented: “Quattro Display’s journey exemplifies how targeted support and strategic planning empower SMEs to overcome growth barriers and broaden their horizons.”

Councillor Jo Monk, Leader of Worcestershire County Council, added: “This is a prime example of how expert advice and grant funding can unlock real growth. We encourage local manufacturers with ambitions to explore the Elevate Manufacturing Programme to scale up, innovate, and compete globally.”
